We got the call that a new site with sewer connection was available, late yesterday. Since we were in town and at the home of our son, he and I came out and made the move and so we are now settled into our home for the month. The sties is in the new section of the park and so has somewhat less shade but the one we have is pretty good and is also very nicely level and so we are happy. This part of the park is all level sites but some have very little by way of shade. We actually had a choice of two sites and feel that we did pretty well.

The park has an interesting mix of residents. With a major shift in mission taking place on the base, there are many soldiers with families here while they find more permanent housing and there are many retired military as well. It is kind of interesting as that means most residents are either under 40 or then are past 65. I think that the children here mostly feel that they have a great world as it is largely populated with grandparents!This is a mix that works very well as many of we older residents have children who are serving.
